Hello,
I made a post earlier that was way too long (if interested, you can read it on my profile), so I want to ask a distilled question:
PhD and current postdoc haven’t given me technical skills that are employable in the country I’m moving too now. I’ve been offered a postdoc that’s very interesting and builds upon my current skills, but I am considering moving to industry and do a non-research job (although I love R&D) just to get a first company job on my CV and not get stuck in the postdoc trap.
Any thoughts?
